Renowned Ghanaian gospel artiste, Phillipa Baafi has in an interview revealed how Asamoah Gyan’s penalty miss at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa sent her into forced labour.
Speaking in an interview on Angel FM’s Angel Sports show with Saddick Adams, the multiple award-winning gospel artiste revealed that during the time of the match she was pregnant and was alone in her residence in the US while her family were in Ghana.
Narrating her ordeal, she revealed that not long after Asamoah Gyan’s miss she went into forced labour and had to be rushed to the hospital citing that she stayed in the hospital for two weeks and the following week she delivered her daughter who is now 11 years old.
